My aim is to serve the people of Skellingthorpe as a Parish Councillor, and meet all the community needs wherever possible and make the community a village to be proud of, in a safe environment.
I moved to Lincolnshire in 1976 and moved to Skellingthorpe in 2019.
I have worked in retail as shop owner, and was a local first aider, then training as a senior mental health nurse (RMN) on wards with Lincoln CRISIS team, my role was to assess and act on the urgent need of the people. Having 35 years experience with learning disabilities, all mental health including Dementia and elderly care.
My knowledge/skills are always updated regarding safeguarding, people’s rights and equality etc. Since my retirement other than working for the Parish Council hobbies include research, travel, fundraising for SANDS baby charity and sewing.
