I was born in Stoke on Trent at the beginning of the war. Meeting my husband at College, in 1960 we took a 5 week trip to Rome on a 150cc Lambretta Scooter. We bought our forever home in Skellingthorpe in 1963, converting our 1918 Canadian Clapperboard shack into a comfortable home. I taught for over 20 years, also creating 3 businesses. For 7 years I was a member of the Local Revue Committee for the Parole Board at Lincoln Prison. From 2001-10 I travelled widely all over the world. I have served as a Parish Councillor and on the Committee of the U3A, the Community Centre and AgeUK Luncheon Club. I enjoy playing boules and dominoes. I celebrate my 80th birthday with a Wing Walk for Medical Detection Dogs Charity.
