I lived in Southampton before moving to Lincoln, working in Hampshire Fire Service for 21.5 years before retiring on health grounds. Jeanette and I moved to Skellingthorpe in July 2008, getting married at the Methodist Church in 2012. I have assisted with the local Scout group as a temporary Group Scout Leader. As a pair we have helped with Luncheon Club, Skellingthorpe Gala, Party in the Park, Mayday Run. We opened our Garden for quite a few years when it occurred for Charity and other Village activities. I have previously served on the Parish Council

Skellingthorpe is a village and civil parish in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 3,465. It is situated 3 miles west from Lincoln city centre, and just outside the A46 Lincoln ring road.
