Hello I am Graham Bright and I moved to Skellingthorpe in October 2019 from Chelmsford, when I retired from contracted employment. My work background is the RAF from 1974-1982, and then working “on the Buses” in East London. It was always my intention to become part of the village, and whilst the pandemic put that on hold, I was very pleased to be accepted as a co-opted member of the Parish Council last year.
I am active with the warm space initiative at the Community Centre, and would put the combat of loneliness as a priority going forward. I see the Role of a Parish Councillor as a guide for the residents of the village, particularly as we all face the uncertain times ahead.
