I was born in Owston Ferry Lincolnshire, and joined the Army at the age of 16 and served predominately in the UK and Germany. I left the Army after 14 years and joined the British Transport Police where I worked for 20 years. On retirement I did various jobs within Lincoln, moving to Skellingthorpe 22 years ago. I joined Skellingthorpe Parish Council in January 2016 where I have met many local people and have become a well-known figure in our Community.
In my spare time I am Chairman of the Lincoln and District Branch of the Royal Artillery Association and enjoy caravanning and spending time with my grandson Freddie.
